The first half of Genesis describes about well-Known stories such as "Creation", " Expulsion from Paradise of Adam and Eve", "Noah's Ark", "Tower of Babel" and so on. The second half tells stories about ancestors of Israel people originating from Abraham.
1-1 the Creation and a Myth about people after having been expulsed from Paradise
1)The God creates light, heaven and earth, animal and plant and mankind (Adam and Eve) in seven days.

God created mankind in his own image.
2)Daily life in Eden, and Adam and Eve were expulsed from Eden as they ate a forbidden fruit with being seduced by a snake.
"Genesis2-25"：Daily life of Adam and Eve in Eden;
They don't feel ashamed even if they wear nothing. A sun beam is shined into the back of Eve and "eye?" is depicted in a center of
sun, which reminds me of the eye of Freemansory to see through everything.
"Genesis3-6"：
Eve ate a forbidden fruit with being seduced by a snake, and she recommended Adam to eat it.
"Genesis3-24"：
Adam and Eve ate a forbidden fruit and made the God angry, and they were expulsed from Eden.
3) Cain and Abel
"Genesis4":
Cain and Abel are children of Adam and Eve who were expulsed from Eden. Cain,elder brother, was engaged in the farming, and Abel, yonger brother,
was doing the stockbreeding. They offered their products to the God, however the God was pleased the offering from only Abel.
Accordingly Cain was jealous of Abel and killed him. As a result Cain was banished. This would be the first quarrel among brothers in a mankind history.
In a tile picture, a club with Cain's swinging up is rough as it is a jaw's bone of donkey. It seems that a tile artisan would be influenced from an episode
about "Judgement" story in which Samson killed thousands of Philistines with a donkey bone.
4)Noah's Ark
"Genesis7,8"：
Noah is also a descendant of Adam and Eve. Pious Noah and his family built a huge Ark following the God's direction and brought a lot of animals into the Ark.
It rained severely in 40 days and a mankind and animals on the earth had been extincted due to the flood. One year later Noah and his family landed to a dry land
following the God's direction. Noah and his family built the alter and dedicated a pure beast and bird to the God.
"Genesis9"：
After landing, Noah cultivated a vineyard. Noah was drunken with drinking brewed wine, and fell into a sleep undressed, then his son, Ham made sodomy to his farther.
After waking up, Noah got angry and banished Ham.
5)Tower of Babel
"Genesis11"：
As people started to build the high Tower reaching to the sky, the God felt "Mankind are insolent to him", then the God made people's communication difficult between
top and ground level of the Tower. Eventually People lost their integrity as they could not communicate each other. It is interesting to see that gallows is
depicted behind the Tower, which might be influenced by Dutch Painting Scool in 17~18C.
1-2 Ancestors of Israelies
1-2-1 Abraham
1)Abraham, a third generation of Noah, lived in Harran located at midstream of the Euphrates. His original name was Abram but he was renamed Abraham due to the God's direction. According to the revelation of God, he moved to Canaan together with Sarah, his wife and Lot, his nephew. At Canaan many tribes were fighting each other and Abraham also participated into such fightings.
"Genesis12-5":Call of Abraham:
Following the God's order, Abraham left for Canaan taking all assets acquired in Harran and people.
"Genesis13":Departure with Loto
Abraham and Loto moved to the place between Bethel and Ai. As they have too many assets including cattles, they can't live in the same place.
Abraham gave the option to select the place to Loto. Loto decided to move to Sodom where will be destroyed later.
"Genesis14-18~20"：
Meruchizedekku King, which means "King of Justice" and it is said that he is a King of Jerusalem, gave Abraham bread and wine.
2)As Abraham and Sarah did not have a child, so Abraham got Hagar, a servant of Sarah,to give birth of his child. Hagar escaped from Sarah as Sarah was jealous of Hagar, but an angel appeared and persuaded Hagar to return to Abraham. Hagar's son is Ishmael and became an originator of Arab Nation.

Thereafter three visitors, who are said to be messengers of the God, came to Abraham and Sarah, and noticed that "Sarah will have a child a year later".
This child is Issac.
3)People in Sodom and Gomorra were committed in Sodomy, and it made the God angry so the God destroyed Sodom and Gomorra. Abraham escaped from Sodom together with Lot before that. A wife of Lot became a pillar of salt because she looked back Sodom in escaping despite that the God ordered not to look back.

The God sent two angels to investigate how Sodom is depraved.

Lot's wife became a pillar of salt because she did not followed the God's direction not to look back.
4)Lot and his daughters escaped sucessfully and had children.
"Genesis19-30"：
Lot and his daughters: Lot and his daughters had children to leave a descendant because there were no men due to the downfall of Sodom and Gomorra.
5)After the birth of Issac, Ishmael was hated by Sarah, and deported to the deserts together with Hagar.
"Genesis 21-14"：
Hagar was hated by Sarah, a legal wife, and deported to the deserts together with Ishmael with little food and water.

Hagar and Ishmael were thirsty but an Angel relieved them.
6)Burnt offering of Issac
"Genesis22,6"：
Abraham took the wood for the burnt offering and placed it on his son Issac and he himsel
carried the fire and the knife.
"Genesis22,17"：
Abraham was tested with the loyality to the God so he almost sacrificed Issac to the God. Just before sacrifacing, the God admitted Abraham's loyality and
Issac was relieved.
1-2-2 Issac
1)Abraham despatched his servant to Haran where his younger brother, Nahor lives to look for Issac's wife. The servant met Rebecca, who is a granddaughter of Nahor
and marries Issac later. He asked for water at the well.

2)Rebecca gave birth of twin: Older brother, Esau:a hunter and younger brother, Jacob:a farmer
1-2-3 Jacob
1)Rebecca loved Jacob more than Esau, and planned to assign Jacob as a successor of Issac.
One day Esaw came back from a hunting. As he was so hungry that he promised to assign the Firstborn right to Jacob so that he could eat boiled beans Jacob
was cooking.

２）Under the allusion of Rebbecca Jacob cheated the old and poor eyesight Issac by carrying the scent of Issac and pretending as hairy Issac with wearing goat's fur
so that Issac convinced Jacob as Esaw. Evebtually Jacob acquired the primogeniture.3)Jacob worried about the revenge by Esau so he escaped to Haran, Rebecca's homeland and on the way to Haran, he dreamed that angels were going up and coming down on the ladder connecting the heaven and the ground. He convinced to have been blessed by the God.

4)Jacob's uncle, Lavan has two daughters, Leah and Rachel. Jacob married Leah at first then Rachel. They had twelve children and the eleventh child, Joseph a child with
Rachel succeeded Jacob.
5)On the way to Canaan with families and means earned at Haran, Jacob faught with unknown somebody all night and it turned out that the oppornent was the God therefore
he decided to introduce himself "Israel", which means the pertinacious man with fighting the God.

6)Jacob met again with Esaw and they became reconciled with each other. Esaw was gone to the deserts and Jacob came back to Canaan.

Jacob was worried about to see Esaw, but an angel told Jacob no problem.

1-2-4 Joseph
1)Jacob made twilve children and Joseph was the second from the youngest. These twelve children are ancesters of twelve tribes of Israel.
2)Joseph was good at oneirocriticism since childhood.
3)As Joseph was too much smart with things, his brothers hated him and he was pushed down into a pit and almost died, however he was rescued by a caravan pssing by.
But he was sold to Egypt. His brothers painted animal's blood on the Joseph's cloth and told their farther that Joseph died with animal's attacking.

4)Joseph worked for the Grand Steward of Pharaoh. He incurred an unjust accusation of having affair with a wife of the Grand Steward and was prisoned.

5)He did oneirocriticism in a prison and also gave a right interpritation to Phraoh's dream. Eventually he acquired Pharaoh's trust and made a good job
as a Primeminister.
"Genesis40":Joseph's oneirocritisism for Phraoh's cupbearer and cook in a prison.
A cupbearer's dream was that there was a vine with three branches and a cupbearer squeezed grapes and poured it into Pharaoh's cup. Joseph interpreted that a cupbearer
will be foregiven in three days and will be back to the position of cupbearer. On the other hand a Phraoh's cook dreamed that there were three bread vaskets and
food prepared by a cock was put in a top basket and a bird was eating it. Joseph's interpretation was that a cock will be hung on a tree and his body will be pecked
by a bird.
"Genesis41":Joseph's oneirocritisism for Pharaoh
Pharaoh dreamed that seven beautiful cows crowled up from a river and eating grasses and then the seven ugly cows crowled up and ated fat seven cows.
Joseph interpreted that After seven years with good harvest, seven years with bad harvest will go on and the stockpile of food will be depleted.
6)Joseph's brothers came to Egypt to look for foods suffering from a famine in Canaan. Joseph explained who is himself to brothers and managed for his brothers to move
into Egypt.
"Genesis44":Joseph's trick:When Joseph knew that his brothers came to Egypt, he put his silver cup into a youngest brother, Benjamin's bag in order to see his brothers'
reaction. Namely Joseph had never forgotten his brothers sold him to Egypt.
7)Joseph finished his life in Egypt. Moses was born after forth generation.
